Make sure you can refill
Many sellers are decanting bulk gas from Australian rental bottle manufactures into their own imported bottles. In due course they get shut down leaving you short of gas. WA Gases has a local gas supplier that has been operating for over 15 years. Rest assured your investment will be refillable for many years.
2: How long has the seller been trading?
Make sure they'll still be there next week
Recently in WA there has been many new players to the “own your own” gas bottle market. Make sure they are here to stay.
3: Ask if their bottles Australian DOT approved and have they been filled in Australia?
Make sure it's legal
Others import non refillable bottles into Australia and send them overseas for refilling as they don’t meet Australian regulations.
4: Ask where their valves are manufactured?
Make sure it's safe
Our valves are high quality Mueller or SA made. Don’t take chances on cheap non compliant single use valves.
5: Will the seller buy your bottle back?
